Building a tradition of excellence since 1983, Newberg Water Polo Club offers water polo training and competition for athletes of all ages and skill levels throughout the Chehalem Valley and Portland metro areas.

Run by committed coaches with NCAA and international playing experience, NWPC is focused on providing premium quality instruction through the development of fundamental water polo skills, while preparing players for high school, national, and collegiate level competition. We pride ourselves on producing not just great athletes, but exceptional young adults that go on to great successes.

Free 2-week trials are available for new families and athletes interested in trying out water polo.

*Athletes will need to complete the USA Water Polo Trial Athlete membership form to participate in practice. Trial memberships can be registered for here (there is no cost). Click on Join Today on home page to create an account. Choose "Newberg Water Polo" as your membership club.

Please make a copy of your USA Water Polo registration and bring it to your first practice. Note that the USA Water Polo trial starts when you register (and runs for 14 days) so we suggest waiting until right before you begin to register.

2022 Junior Olympics -  Dallas, Texas

NWPC is very proud of our athletes who competed in the 2022 Junior Olympics in Dallas, Texas.   Newberg Water polo took three teams to the national tournament.  First, our 16U Boys, coached by Matt Bayha, finished with a 5-3 record and stayed in the top Platinum bracket finishing 17th out of 38 teams!  Second, our 18U Boys team, coached by Scott Raegen, finished 3rd in the Gold bracket, bringing home a 3rd place trophy and medals.  Finally, our 16U Girls team, coached by Aukai Ferguson, played in the championship game and celebrated a second place overall victory!   We are very proud of these hardworking athletes!!
